False thermal trip events will sometimes be generated because of PWRGD signal drops too slow with power supply HP-R650FF3 REV H03.
The current SDR revision can be found in CMOS setup / server / system management. Even if the revision is the same as this file, the FRU/SDR update utility needs to be rerun whenever the hardware configuration is changed, such as adding/removing a processor.
If the BIOS is updated, the FRU/SDR update utility needs to be rerun.
Instructions
1. Make a bootable diskette
2. Download the ZIP file to the HDD.
3. Using Winzip, extract the files from the zip file to the floppy drive (A:)
4. Boot from the floppy.
5. At the DOS prompt type
a:\G520UPD.BAT
Please note: After updating FRUSDR f/w to 1.53.1, make sure M/B BIOS is updated to P09 or later, and BMC f/w is updated to 2.40 or later.
