If you find that you get a message stating that the flash device is not found or not supported, please use the second set of instructions below (using the flash82x.exe command) 1.Create a bootable floppy disk 2.Copy the file f82717.exe to the floppy 3.Copy the BIOS version you want to the floppy 4.Rename the BIOS file to bios.rom 5.Ensure that your machine is powered from the mains, not battery 6.Boot from your bootable floppy disk. 7.At the A: prompt type f82717 bios.rom or At the A: prompt type flash82x bios.rom 8.Wait until the instructions on the screen advise you that the update is completed, then remove the floppy disk and reboot
