Award NEC VT MSI 6147 Motherboard Bios BIOS Driver

Award NEC VT MSI 6147 Motherboard Bios Driver. I had a nightmare finding and installing this bios flash for the MSI 6147 Motherboard, which is in NEC VT P3 Systems and probably Packardbell P3 Systems.

Installation instructions...

Download and run this file, it will extract 4 files to the same directory you ran the file from. Copy these 4 files to a floppy disk.(label the disk bios flash)

Startup your Pc with MSdos boot disk, don't load CD-Rom Support.

Insert the bios flash disk into your floppy drive.

At the command prompt a type

AWDFL741 and press enter.

the flash program will load.

Enter W647MS18.BIN when prompted for file name to load.

Also select save old bios, in case of

mistakes, name it OLDBIOS.BIN.

Once you've done that just say yes to the next prompt and you will see a graphic display of your bios being flashed.

Incase of mistakes you have your old bios saved on the floppy -)

Just repeat the steps but enter OLDBIOS.BIN in the frile name to load box.

Dont have a MS-DOS boot disk?

In windows 98 select start, programs, control panel, addremove programs, boot disk tab at top of window (Its the last 1 on the right).
